Honorary Membership

Honorary Membership

Honorary membership is conferred by the Register in recognition of exceptional contribution, service, or distinction.

Honorary membership

Honorary membership is not applied for in the ordinary way. It is awarded by the Register in recognition of exceptional contribution, service, or distinction relevant to the profession or to the Register itself.

The committee may define criteria and procedures for honorary membership as the organisation develops.

How it works

  • Honorary membership may be conferred by the committee.
  • It is not intended as a standard application route.
  • Any supporting nomination or background material can be handled by the Register directly if required.
